- The Property Misdescriptions Act
(1991)
- Under this legislation it is an offence to take a misleading
photograph or indeed use technology to enhance or materially change
the image. If convicted, the person who took the image as well as the
Estate Agency, could be fined up to a maximum of £5000 in a
Magistrate's Court; in a Crown court the fine is unlimited.
