WHY TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS
 The main purpose of taking photographs is to record visually the layout and
dimensions of any accident locus or defect, or in the case of an assault the
severity of wounds or bruising before the evidence is moved, altered or
repaired.
This should be done as soon as is convenient after the incident for a more
accurate portrayal rather than months after the event.
To help further clarify the position or condition of any locus or defect we
will, where necessary or if helpful, show measurements in the photographs. These
measurements will be taken in such a manner as to dispel most arguments as to
their authenticity. 
In most cases we will require the plaintiff (the person
putting the case forward) to be present and identify the locus in person.
If required we will be pleased to try and collect clients from their home or
work to aid this process or meet them at the accident locus.
MINORS
In the case of "minors" we will require a parent, guardian or
solicitor to be present.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST
Many litigation cases will be covered under the current "Legal Aid"
scheme and as such should not cost you anything.
Individual clients not covered by Legal Aid, will be expected to pay the full
fee of £47 at the site inspection.
Clients may be also be able to use a local solicitor who has a current
account with us.
In all cases, the Professional Advice" of a solicitor should be sought
as soon as possible. Many solicitors will offer a free first appointment to
discuss the potential action.

correct advise on any potential claim before you proceed. Remember that if you
are not covered by Legal Aid and you lose, you may have to pay costs to both
sides. Your solicitor will be able to advise you about Legal Aid.

locus.
The ability of this new medium being open to manipulation from other parties,
may possibly throw enough doubt into the equation to have a case
dismissed.
