Services:

Greyabbey Trees can offer a wide variety of Professional Services but specialises in the smaller side of the market.

The bulk of our work is small tree and shrub pruning, crown lifting, crown thinning,  dangerous limbs removed or tree felling if required. Hedge trimming, Conifer topping or removal.
Please fee free to contact me and if I can't help I will try and point you in the right direction.

We have the ability to safely cut and lower in confined spaces to prevent damage to other trees or property in the vicinity.

Trees are climbed using ropes to avoid damaging the tree, climbing spikes or gaffs are only used on trees that have to be felled.

Logs:

A part of the recycling side to tree surgery means that we sometimes
have a supply of logs and wood chip for sale. Delivery is generally free to local areas. For non-local calls a little extra will be charged.

Our logs are a mixed bag containing wood from many different species in various shapes and sizes depending on the job in hand.

In fairness I would call them green rather than dry so when buying them it is best if you have somewhere to allow them to dry out fully for best results. However having said that, they will burn quite successfully straight from the bag. (Never leave any open fire unattended without a fireguard)

The logs are only available in the large bulk builders bag.

Craft Work:

Sometimes an alternative to stump removal or logging after felling is to convert the remaining waste into a piece of art. I don't profess to being the world best sculptor but the right tree in the right place can give you ideas.
